FEW MORE

snaps to fill up my time...

Malaysia's fourth Premier and his wife were in this picture outside the auditorium where parents were invited to hear the briefings.
Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad was the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia. He held the post for 22 years from 1981 to 2003, making him Malaysia's longest-serving Prime Minister, and one of the longest-serving leaders in Asia. During his term in office, he was credited for engineering Malaysia's rapid modernisation. Mahathir is also known for his criticisms towards western and developed countries.

While trying to edit this post, it jumps to the today's date.... so that affected my 5+1 posting...sorry

Wow, just read all the posts. Sounds like both your kids are leaving home at the same time? It's going to be very quiet around your home. lol

Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad was Prime Minister of Malaysia during all the years I lived in Asia (1986-2003) He was pretty much in the front of the scene then.

Mel,

Thanks for taking your time, giving me time to read all my five posts...It was very encouraging! Thanks.

Yes, the house is extra quiet now and by tomorrow morning (Monday) life would be back to normal for me and Harith... Harith was extra "noisy" when uncle and aunt Dee were home. He was at the top of his voice chattering away... very entertaining indeed.

Laura,

Where about were you while in Asia all those year? That was long, very long...17 years? What were you or your hubby doing in this region? Attache in the embassy???

No wonder you are so very familiar with our dishes/food, spices and cultures.

Yes, he was pretty much "all over the world too", he was also a man with vision and he envisaged all of them. Cyber Jaya was part of it, including the new capital city and center of our government administration... Putra Jaya. It is still developing, very modern and more efficient.

When we were kids, my mother used to say to me and my sibblings that when we get married or leave for college, the house will be peaceful and she can then enjoy the peace... Every time we make her mad she would say that. When I got married and moved to another state, and city of course, she called next day crying and said 'The house is so EMPTY without you. I miss your voice and all the noise you used to make early in the morning. I miss your laugh'... So when ur kids leave u will feel the same like my mother I guess ;)

I was exactly like Mother's Heart. I said the same thing when they were little and now I miss all 6 of them so bad I could cry. That is life for you. Blessings

Mother's Heart and QMM,

Yes! You are right! Whatever you wrote were exactly what happened over here too. All over the world, Mothers are the same.

The loneliness crept in as soon as they left home. Two missing persons... indeed they meant a lot.

But little Harith keeps me quite occupied...That's the next best thing happening in my life... watching him grow and being chosen to take care of him while his parents are at work. Its a Blessings. Alhamdulillah syukur.
