DONE PART 3

After the banana corner, they found their way to the left section of our garden. That must have been some tapioca plants that they were after. I had picked them up from a friend's house some months ago. But they kept coming trimming down the stems and took away the shoots which are good to eat. I actually hid them in this bush but they found out somehow.

This young one seemed to be in a real swinging mood. The plant was bent down, but did not break. Its leaves are used to get the green color for our delicacies...Malay cakes as we call them.

Busy helping themselves to the tapioca stems and notice the body...elongated, trimmed and slim..That's how I recognized them from the "good guys" group which are fatter, fuller and gentler. They seemed polite and tame and would come up to the windows waiting for food from us.

Still busy harvesting. They also helped themselves to the red helliconias (I am not so sure of the spelling) hiding inside the big bush. They had another fiasco. I have posted "Thirteen Against One" much earlier. That was them.

Its probably thinking what else to trim and slash down...pruning perhaps?

Dutchess,

We used to live in Berlin in the 90's. Just a short one though. We have also been to the zoo . We were there when the Berlin Wall was crumbling down. The zoo was so clean.

Were you just visiting or you were from there?

Thanks but I have enough of them here...so close to me...hahahaha.

These past couple of days there is not even single one coming around. Perhaps there are busy doing their round of rampage in other people's compound.

Hello Royal Lady..we visited Berlin!
We love this City. The Zoo is still a very beautiful and clean place.
It must of been an exiting and emotional moment when the Wall came down..We are from Amsterdam, and now living (for two years) in Apeldoorn, close to amsterdam, one our drive.
There is lots of green and very nice nature close by,and we do have a big garden!(without monkeys)

The Dutchess,
I have written last nite but suddenly th econnection got disconnected.

Yes, The Berlin Wall's episodes... not only leaving us excited because we witnessed it ourselves BUT the exodus was immense...imagine the situation was chaotic. They sold the chiseled pieces and we still have them with us till now as momento.

The children went to school called Unter den Castanien Shule. We lived in Devrient Weg, West Berlin.

BUT I love most was the HUGE maroon colored cherries.MMMmmm sumptious. Miss them terribly. In Malaysia it cost us RM 60.00/kg.

I missed visiting Amsterdam but the tulips that I saw on TV were gorgeous...
