Ya, may be normal but the doctor has just decreased my Simvastati to 10 mg.
Scary:abnormally low levels of cholesterol may indicate (I have no idea of how LOW): • hyperthyroidism, or an overactive thyroid gland • liver disease • mal-absorption • inadequate absorption of nutrients from the intestines • malnutrition
Well, that was what the doctor told me when he looked at my blood results - borderline case. No need to give medication but sufficient to control my diet.
Alhamdulillah, I am still free from diabetes and hypertension.
Hello, Thank you for stopping by my blog! I could not find an email address to answer your question regarding the pepper. Yes, I would use it in handwash too but reduce the pepper to maybe 1/2 tsp. Have a wonderful day!
Now the prescription is on halved 10mg. But I still take the 20mg... alternate nights... Y? Because I have been naughty with my diets...
I am trying to exercise but .....but...but! I just play with Harith in the house, fetching his cars, picking up balls for him esp.when they went right under the chair and stuck at some corners.

Laura...
I guess the unit is mmol/L...
Is that low? It sounds low. If so, that is good news, right?
It is within normal range. You dpn't have to worry about it. Mine was 6.2 - borderline case.
Mel, Azahar,
I have been reading about low cholesterol....

ooo ... already on simvastatin. No wonder can go that low!
Borderline or not depends really on each individual i.e. depend on your risk factor.
Dr. Azhar's 6.2 cannot be considered as borderline doc (with your age) ... ehem ...
When you have diabetes, hypertension etc - all add to the risk factor and the line push lower.
I have a friend whose target (optimal) level is below 3.2 due to several risk factor that he is having.

Well KA,
Yes already on statin due to family history of heart problem (risk factor)...
Other tests alhamdulillah" line clear".
