Yesterday blood samples were taken and sent for testing.
Today I heard someone giving the result while I was in the kitchen... opening the fridge door...
"Mummy your cholesterol is 3.4"

HARITH ?
Mummy!
Did I hear right? I showed him my picture, from my new Mother's Day hand phone that I edited. It looked like a drawing but he recognised it well. BUT instead of saying Wan (for grandma)... he said "Memee, mummy, mummy!"
Wow! My grandson calling me "Mummy!" Was I delighted?
Tonight he came up with few more surprises... he correctly pronounced Hafiz's name... (it should be uncle Fiz)... and went on with mummy, mummy. Tasha was excited to hear him saying mummy! Other words are birds, atash for upstairs and ... I forgot a couple more...

MORE SHOTS 18.04.09
The little host did not want to be left out... he was everywhere... there were four tables of food served. The main dishes were nasi dagang, nasi kunyit, ayam rendang wangi, curry puffs, cheese cake, pulut gaul nyior, laksam, cakes, Malay cakes, cup cakes, cookies, kerepek, nasi minyak, canned fruits, plentiful of fruits and fruits and fruits... all including two boxes of mineral water were "pot luck".
Raden Hafizah (the lady in the middle) made it all the way from Batu Pahat, Johore. Nazimah Abd.Wahid in pale blue, just came back from Dubai accompanying her hubby working there.
Wonder what is so ticklish there... she contained her laughter... can you see? Nazipah was seriously explaining to Wan Hasmah..
Siti Normala the lady who does it all for us... she sms to everyone in the group, she calls everyone when something urgent arises... Faridah Malik is still working in Kementerian Kesihatan... this soft spoken lady is from Negeri Sembilan.
The HOST, Tasha was our super duper junior in the same school. She is my eldest daughter and Harith's Mama. She prepared fruit punch, tea and coffee. Later she joined her sisters (Zaza and Diyanah) packing food for take aways. Excuse the "unlady-like pose" but I want to share the grins...
thank you all for making this meet an extra ordinary one...

I just don't feel alright leaving all these shots in my album and not shared with my beloved blog visitors.
FROM 1967 TO 2009 - NOSTALGIC gathering of the young and old
The great meet on the 18th April 2009...
The young host is ready to recite Yaasin... moments yet to come...
Different topics to catch up and shared... Hassanah, the newest grandma in gray blouse (17th April 09) and a grandma for the second time... Wan Hasmah ( 19th April 09) .... Zara was born in Doha, Qatar. How many Puan Salim has?
...Rohaya in brown blouse, the person responsible in tracing Sham.... Thank you Roy for this most memorable moment...
Sharifah Aminah, a grandma of 6 toddlers... young and beautiful at 55 (?)
Maisarah Mahmud looking serious and deep in thought? Hayati Takiman (a qualified and experienced Matron) going to work at a hospital in Ta'if in June ...
Patiently waiting and forever ready for photo shoot with Papa. He has just turned 15 months and 6 days... on this date.
Who is saying what? I have forgotten who was there catching all of our attentions. Harith steals the shot too. He was seated on Wan Esah Tun Harun... another great friend who made it together with me and Shamsiah to this boarding school.
Me and Azizah Awanglah, we were great friends since boarding school life started and now we became The Mother-in-laws (2007 and 2009)... a school runner, very athletic, charming and a kind-hearted person... 2nd May 2009, she became a mother-in-law.
The guest of honor, Shamsiah Abu Bakar... long lost but never forgotten. We started long time ago in our raw age of 10 years...We have parted in 1973 and ... still in touch a few times when I was in Berlin and she in Japan... then we both disappeared from the mailing list. This year, February, Roy had contacted the Malaysian Embassy in Oman and successfully traced Sham. That brought us together on this vary memorable date... a much treasured day.
My partner in crime... we never met since after 1973... living in the same city, breathing the same air... only when the needs arose , Allah met us up in 2001... and we never parted again since. She was delighted when I described to her... I was swept off my feet by "the knight in shining armor" and she was equally flabbergasted when I told her of "the great drop... was dropped like a hot potato"... the rest of the tales were "ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto"... A grandma blogger.
I could not forget this fair skinned young girl who sat behind me in class. With moles in her face, always wearing sweet smile... several years later, I discovered her living in Kajang where I joined for a few years. Then disappeared with my family, living elsewhere... 2009 brought us back on the track again...Hamidah Baharom.
This fair and sweet lady was last seen in 1974... on the last day after HSC exam. I have not met her since and out of the blues, she surprised me greatly on this day ... When she entered our house, I could not recognise her instantly... but her eyes tell who she was. Zubaidah Abd.Hamid... now a teacher living in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
Emy!!!!! I heard her shouting in the same exam hall on the last day of HSC Exam... I couldn't locate her among the huge crowds of over 100 students...after we finished the last paper... she must have gone home with her parents... and I went back to the hostel to pack my belongings. That magical shout left me astounding till I met her again at this gathering. Faridah Abu Bakar...now living not far from me... we were once in the same dormitory in Hostel 1B. This petite young lady never changed in size and appearance... memories are forever lingering in my mind...
This little gentleman was overseeing in case anyone needed his assistance... Harith was so concerned with his special guests... grandmas in town.
The morning before the great gathering at our house to welcome all the grandmas...
Harith was lending his helping hand. He was so serious at work and a couple of hours later, he dozed off.

Wan Hafsah, the lady who led the Yaasin recitation, Siti Hawa Musa who lived a few kilometers away and still working and Sharifah Aminah, my friend whom I have just reunited this year... she was in the primary school with me and we shared great moments together then...
Some of our guests, have missed this photo shot sessions... they arrived much later and missed the photographer... In 1967 almost half of us were only half these sizes...
