This dress aged ten years old... a make-over on the sleeves
Another make-over (above) ... it was previously beaded for AH's Mama's wedding reception...(below). Carefully unpicked every single beads and re sewn... on the sleeves only.
My first bead work done for Harith's Mama's third wedding reception held in our home...two years back. A daring attempt on this art work using needles, threads and beads. The sewing was done on the sleeves, on the body's middle portion, bottom corner and shoulder... The design was beaded on the batik prints of 100% cotton fabric.
The fabric was a gift from my elder sister, Paezah. TQ sis.
Below was thought to be the best... a few days later...I changed my mind and it transformed as above... The fabric was a 53rd birthday gift from La Vie en-rose...

BUT trust me...time was well spent.....most of it was with my needles, beads and sleeves of my dresses... My bedroom carpet and floor suddenly became pricky... they were caused by fallen beads that missed the needle and thread...
I have not ventured further by using sequins and bigger stones... perhaps later...
