THE LIGHTS THAT MY EYES SEE THROUGH THE LENSES PART 9

All these were the lights from the buildings, vehicles and street lamps that Hafiz caught through his cam.

Credits to Hafiz for enabling me to have many more postings on lights than orginally intended.

YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE (Debbie Boone)
So many nights I sit by my window
Waiting for someone to sing me his song
So many dreams I kept deep inside me
Alone in the dark but now
You've come along

You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days
and fill my nights with song

Rollin' at sea, adrift on the water
Could it be finally I'm turning for home?
Finally, a chance to say hey,
I love You
Never again to be all alone

You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days
and fill my nights with song

You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days
and fill my nights with song

It can't be wrong
When it feels so right
'Cause You
You light up my life

THE LIGHTS THAT MY EYES SEE THROUGH THE LENSES PART 4

Somehow the impression was not at all correct here.  The lights were brightly shone and the gigantic chandelier hanged there in its own grandeur.  I failed to get a good shot.

I guess the reflections in the glass wall tells a bit about the my much talked about chandelier...
Out there the streets were so well lighted and the streets were still very much alive.

I have honestly forgotten how did the spiral came about.  So I can't tell you anything about it. Can you make a guess?

Ooooop! They have switch it off??????  Oh dear!  I haven't got any good shots yet... sob, sob, sob.

The lights were still on for the upper floors
.
By this time we were easing ourselves to their balcony
looking out into the street....  see you in the street in my next posting... with much more lights that fascinated me.

THE LIGHTS THAT MY EYES SEE THROUGH THE LENSES PART 2

 WAS I invited?
YES I was!
16th October 2009... after a hard day's work preparing for
a high tea the next day in our house,
my pic gave a surprise call
"Do you wanna go?"
"Where"
"To the orchestra in Philharmonic?"
"But I still have to clear this, clear that..."
"Are you sure you don't want to go?  Think about it"
"Aaaah well... Oh ok, everyone's going out tonight and I would be alone at home"
"So, you are coming, right?"
"Okay, what time are we leaving?"
My oh MY! Suddenly my excitement caught up with me... (so soon???)

Fri 16 Oct 2009, 8.30pm

Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra
Carl Davis conductor

The Big Country

WE were "chauffeur driven" by my young cousin, Amin who "owned the tickets" who was home on a holiday here with his beloved family from his work place in Doha, Qatar. According to his lovely wife, Iz, she did not want "extra orchestra" coming from their baby Zara and their first born, Zachary.  So, we  (me and their mom- grandma bloggers)  were jumping into their wagon and arrived just a little early with ample time to share some snacks.  We were in the Suite section of the Hall.

While in the lounge, I managed these snap shots to share with my beloved blogging friends.  They are from my phone cam.  Thus poor quality snaps.
But I hope you still enjoy my postings with lights almost everywhere.

A view in front of me. The door on its right leads to the grand hall.

This is the top view, strongly sitting above my head.

A view from my back (?), was it? Nope!  Apparently...
It was the tea section.

Ahaah!  Before the show started I was naughty.  I managed this snap just before the announcement came with a gracious reminder about
using camera, notto forget to turn off mobiles and all kinds of beepers.

Thank you for taking Mummy out tonight!!! A remark of gratitude coming from Za.

THE LIGHTS THAT MY EYES SEE THROUGH THE LENSES PART 1

Alhamdulillah syukur (Thank God)

I opened my windows
What did I see?
Life and lives all around...
Beginning with me, my family
My surroundings
The trees, the plants, the birds and the bees
The whole universe

The dawn is setting in the East
Sending me a huge smile in my face
I then knew, there was no rain today
I am forever Blessed with abundance of sunlight
From the East wing as well the West
Both sent fresh and crisp air into my bedroom

My 7:00a.m. snaps through my bedroom window

These are 3:00p.m. shots through
my bedroom window from the west wing

THE LIGHTS THAT MY EYES SEE THROUGH THE LENSES PART 1

Early Friday morning a couple of weeks ago, Hafiz my son took me to the eye hospital for a check up.
While waiting for him to arrive once the appointment was over, I snapped these few shots for blogging.

The founder of this prestigious eye hospital  was non other than our vary own second Premier, an uncle to our current Premier.

My next few postings would be focusing on the lights that I saw.  All the shots here were from my phone cam.
