SHOPPING part 3

To stop him from running along the corridor, we put him up this "talking weighing scale" for a while, till we both catch our breath... BELIEVE it!!! Oh boy! We were more exhausted this time because there wasn't sufficient quorum to "run" the chores.... especially to run after him. Normal quorum would include Papa, Uncle Hafiz, Auntie Dee and Auntie Zaza........

Mama, what is this? It looks like there's music coming once you put the coins in...

Justify Full
But Mama, there's no music. It's only a talking machine! AND it does not move like those musical merry Thomas.

"Mama, I see something else ... It's the 901 sausages! Shall we?"
I ran across the corridor and I found this menu on an empty table. While Mama was at the counter ordering, I , I, Ops! I almost dropped it".

"Ok, there you are. go back to the table. Mama had done it".

"What? Louder please, I can't hear you".

"Aah! I see, you mean the Asia Tour? Oh okay, now I hear you!"

"Mama, have we got our food yet? I have my own table mat".

"Ops! I dropped it. Okay Mama, just put some in my mouth... mmmmmmm, delicious".

"You think you can finish those alone? Memme, would you like to share a bit?"

"Oh we have plenty to go round... just the three of us. There's orange juice, milo and pink guava juice"

"Okay Mama and Memme, I can stay back and help to clean the table".

SHOPPING JULY17TH NIGHT part 1

"Mama, he lets me have this baby carrots. You want some?"
"No Harith, please put it back""OK Mama, I shall just leave it here"

"Now Mama, where to?"

"Oh now I know! You want bigger carrots. Ok Ma, you hold the plastic bag. Here's one fresh carrot for you".

"Mama, tangerines are good".
"No Harith, we have plenty of them at home".

"Hi Uncle Bangla, you mean I can push all these baskets? You sure?"

"Hello Teddies, I am Harith. You want to follow me home?"

"But Mama, they want to follow me home!"
"No Harith, remember Chu Bee gave you two teddies from London?"
"O Ok then, we shall put them back on the shelves Mama".

"Mama! I Know we need these cotton buds, don't we? One, there we go!"
"I got two Mama. One for me and one for Memee".

Busy WEDNESDAY

This morning:

I first went with my eldest daughter to the hospital to get some medicine for some insect bites. Not a very long wait, probably it was due to a queued-jumping . Once I got my medicine, Hafiz came to fetch me with Harith strapped in his seat and we went to Diyanah's hostel to get all her belongings, home. Meanwhile, I had my breakfast there ... quite late though... it was almost 10:00a.m. Before leaving, I bought some dishes for our lunch. They were quite cheap.

I accompanied Diyanah up to her twin-sharing room on level 7. Two trips with our hands full on each trip, down to the car. Once her stuffs were packed in the car, home we came. Harith's sleeping time drew nearer. He was making so much noise. I was on this laptop, checking mails and reading comments in my blog. Happy that I managed to make new friends.

Then Hafiz and Diyanah had to go to the stamping office for Hafiz's scholarship forms. Harith and I were left at home. Another alarm came from Harith. He needed his milk, another one.? Once settled and sound asleep, I started feeling hungry and had my lunch while watching the News @ One Thirty at almost 1:45pm. .. .. not so nice to hear...another Air France's mishap, yet again?

Then, back to this laptop... another phone call from the (now got its correct name) Cyber Jaya University College of Medicine... giving details of what to bring along tomorrow morning for registration. How about her belongings? Are we going into the hostels? NOPE! Nor allowed. They would be housed in the elite Cyber Jaya Smart Home housing estate. Their buses and vans would transport the student sinto these homes. We just have to send her for registration and leave her there...in the college which is situated at this prestigious INVENT QJaya Building.

One of the items to be brought tomorrow is a 5 piece-colored photogrphs which Diyanah said, no problem at all because she has 40 pieces of them with her!!! Lol!

Again!!! I am very lucky as Hafiz is still around to help. Sister Zaza is taking leave to see her off and Papa (my sil) is taking leave to take care of Harith... Hafiz would be back to his campus (now 2nd year degree in Industrial Computer) on the 4th of July to resume hi studies. His campus is 350 kilometers away,
approximate.

By next week, life should be back to "normal" with no more helping hands around . Otherwise it was , "Hafiz, please see to Harith for me", Hafiz this, Hafiz that... NO more luxury, no one to drive me around and no more pop in and out of shopping malls. I would have to drive myself and handle things like before his 2 months long holiday...May-June........sob, sob, sob!

ALAS! Aloha Diyanah, Aloha Hafiz. Be on your way to "seek success and build your future from now on"... All The Best and May Allah Bless you all the way. Amin.

ACHIEVEMENTS

sINCE i WAS BORN

my SMILE CAME not long after
My chuckle came after that
Mama kept all the little events
In a log book that is half my size

Then at 7 months I tried to crawl
But my left leg wouldn't want to lift up
So I just managed a slow move
Most times topple onto the floor

At Eight months I manged to crawl
Luckily the floors are cleaned daily
I was constantly "keep-an-eye-on" by everyone
Afraid I would make a turn and down I came

Nine months... tasting and licking things I want to discover
When no one was looking
Quick! I managed to lick them
Corners of the carpet...yulk!
Arm rest of our chairs..yulp!
Corners of the table....iyukh!

When I play with toys
I threw them about
If they got stuck under the chair
I pretended looking BUT I was licking the floor

Wan would come screaming
But...cool it Wan! I gave her a cheeky smile
I always got away with it
When she lifted me up...
She cleaned my hands and mouth
She always sing "this is the way we wash our hands"

Bathing time was always cheerful
When bubbles got on to my lips
Yummy! I licked them
So blissful when in the water

Then came the marathon
Up and up and up the steps I got
First try was up to the fifth
That was enough to make me feel great

Second try... up to the sixth
Gradually..up and up and up!
Fifteen flight of steps I conquered
Voala! Tried to get down? Oh NO!

I have not trained for this part yet
So...turning to the right
And into Wan's bedroom I got
Yahoo! Plenty to touch on her bed
Small books, big books...they are there!

After these events, Wan put barricade of chairs
Two at the stairs landing
One into the kitchen
Stool towards her working corner

I managed to push into the kitchen
Using my head and my tears!
YES! I managed to push the meal table chair
With my head. YES!

Now at ten months...12th November...
Licking is now ...almost...a thing of the past...
Its more of chair climbing
Bed climbing and crawling at F1 speed

When the phone rang
I came to it, making such noise
I knew people wanted to talk to me
And surely they ask about me
Definitely!

So Wan usually email her work
No longer talking to her clients
While I am awake
Pity Wan, sacrificing for my sakes

But I would get over everything
Don't worry! I am getting bigger now
Things on the meal table
Placed on the corners and close to the edge?
Are reachable now...wonderful!

My height is the same as the table top
I am tall! I have grown!

MUST WRITE AWAY

It's been hours, days and nights since my last post...on Sunday. Today is Wednesday...yes, in another 15 minutes it would surely and definitely be Thursday. Oh how fast time flies. I have not been productive these few months, nor have I been progressing with what I have been doing all these years.
Tonight, at this instant, although I am a bit sleepy but I am determined to write something so that it would show a new post in some blogs' links, that is, if they have me added. Even if they have not, it is okay. They would still come by (like me, I pay constant visit to their's) for they too want to see updates from this Malaysian granny blogger. Am I right?
To begin with let me share some updates of Harith. I am not being fair to leave him aside (not mentioning anything these few days), lying on his tummy up, tummy down, head up, head down, turning and twisting till his body is on the carpet then the floor...he enjoys touching those surfaces that we do not normally allow him touching.

1.3.2008 was the aqiqah ceremony day for Harith. He was all dressed up, put in a borrowed crib from aunty Hannah Sarah...the pillow case was kept and passed down from Mama...it was done by great grand mother, MA. Mama was by Harith's side before it all begun.

Aqiqah literally means cut and this word is often used for the hair of a new born baby that is cut or shaved.
Aqiqah is defined as the animal that is slaughtered on the occasion when the hair of a new born is shaved. (Of course the animal here, was not slaughtered in the mosque but elsewhere).

The performance of aqiqah is sunnah muakkkadah ( highly encouraged ).It is to be performed by the parents or the guardians of the child.
Prophet Muhammad pbuh and his companions used to perform aqiqah when they were bestowed with a new born.

Always keep myself busy just like my grandma. I am actually showing off my new hair-style...fine little hair showing on my head. Was all shaved up after the aqiqah ceremony.

YES, after reading Harith goes to work in the little office that we have at home, SOHO (small office home office). All done up, isn't it? He is surely serious...about going to work.

Getting some rest after coming home from work...relaxing in mom's bed...all well barricade in case Harith falls off the bed.

After a hard days work, Harith is ready to retire but before he does, here is a special post for every blogger. So long, nighty nite.

Lots of love from a charming little prince....
